Lupe Fiasco really lived up to his name tonight. Apparently, Lupe took stage at The Hamilton in DC for this Inaugural weekend where he was booked by StartUp RockOn for a show and he didn’t waste the opportunity to throw shots at the 44th President, Barack Obama.
It’s no secret that Wasalu isn’t a fan of Obama so this isn’t a surprise as much as it is just seems asinine. I personally don’t think see anything wrong with it but read the tweets from those in attendance with first hand accounts below.
UPDATE: Video footage of the ordeal. I had a feeling the song they were talking about was “Words I Never Said”. You can hear people in the crowd yell “Play another song Lupe” which I think was out of frustration of the rapper repeating the same song over different beats for almost 30 minutes.
Lupe refused to move to the next song so a team of security guards came on stage and told him to go.

So Lupe played one anti-war song for 30 min and said he didn’t vote for Obama and eventually was told to move on to the next song.

Lupe Fiasco just got thrown off stage here at the Hamilton Live after he went on an anti-Obama diatribe mid set.

Editor’s Note:
I don’t think @lupefiasco did anything “wrong”. Ya’ll complain about rapperswho don’t have a message/substance then slander those who do

What @lupefiasco did was a form of protest. Not his fault the cultural tourists that booked him don’t actually LISTEN to his music.
